Issuance of the evaluation required prior to hiring a holder of a doctoral degree as a professor or assistant professor at a public university or as a professor at a private university can be requested by any person possessing a doctoral degree.
Tenured professors already belonging to a university faculty, or those in an administrative and academic position that would entitle them to membership in such faculties, are automatically qualified for being hired by universities in Galicia in any of the three positions mentioned above.
Also, a positive evaluation from the ACSUG for the position of a professor with a doctoral degree at a public university automatically implies qualification for being hired at any university in Galicia in the position of a doctorate-holding professor at a private university or assistant professor at a public university.
A positive evaluation from the ANECA automatically implies qualification for being hired by the universities in Galicia for the position for which the positive evaluation has been obtained.
