Call for applications for evaluation prior to the hiring of university teaching staff and evaluation prior to the exceptional hiring of assistant professors

On 30 December 2009, it has been published the Resolution of 15 December 2009 by the President of ACSUG, approving the regular call for evaluation prior to the hiring of teaching staff in the Galician universities and it has been opened the period for presenting the applications.

The same day, it has been published the Resolution of 15 December 2009 by the President of ACSUG, approving the regular call for evaluation prior to the exceptional hiring of assistant professors in the Galician universities and it has been opened the period for presenting the applications.

The deadline for presenting the applications for the two previous calls is 8 February 2010.

ACSUG is a full member of ENQA

ACSUG has successfully underwent the external evaluation process carried out by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), association composed by quality assurance agencies of 25 European countries. The labour carried out by ACSUG since its creation in 2001 has been recognised by ENQA and ACSUG has been accepted since 16 November 2009 as a full member of ENQA. Expand information.

Presentation of the publication “Labor market insertion of galician university system graduates 2005- 2006”

On Wednesday 25 th November at 13:00 hours in the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration will be presented the ACSUG´s publication: “Labor market insertion of galician university system graduates 2005- 2006”. This presentation will be made by both the Universities General Secretary of the Galician Government and the ACSUG direction.

Afterwards, the advancement of statistical results of the “Labor market insertion of Galician University System Graduates 2006- 2007” will be presented.

This survey is framed within the labor market studies of the Galician University System Graduates, which are carried out regularly by ACSUG. The results obtained in this study provide information of the aspects related to the transition of higher education to the labor market: employment search routes, factors valued in hiring, time spent finding work, type of contract and assessment of competencies required in employment.
