Composition of the Governing Board

The Governing Board shall consist of the following members:

• The president of the Governing Board: Juan José Nieto Roig
• The regional minister of Education, Science, Universities and Vocational Training: Román Rodríguez González
• The general secretary of Universities: José Alberto Díez de Castro
• The director of the Galician Innovation Agency: Carmen Cotelo Queijo
• A member of the Ministry of Treasury and Public Administration: Javier de la Peña Durán
• The rectors of the SUG universities that are part of the consortium:
  • Antonio López Díaz. Rector of the University of Santiago de Compostela
  • Ricardo Cao Abad. Rector of the University of A Coruña
  • Manuel Joaquín Reigosa Roger. Rector of the University of Vigo
  • Miguel Ángel Escotet Álvarez, Rector of Universidad Intercontinental de la Empresa
• The chairs of the Social Councils from the affiliated universities:
  • Cecilia Sierra Rey. Chair of the Social Council from the University of Santiago de Compostela
  • Antonio Abril Abadín. Chair of the Social Council from the University of A Coruña
  • Ernesto Pedrosa Silva. Chair of the Social Council from the University of Vigo
• Two members proposed the consortium's membership regional ministry:

• Two members proposed by by the head of the regional ministry who is responsible for research, development and innovation:

  • Sonia Rodríguez-Campos González

• Two SUG students from one of the universities forming part of the consortium:
  • Juan Santos Grandal (titular) / Estela Rodríguez Pousa (alternate)
  • Víctor Vega Sobral (titular) / Luis Losada Presedo (alternate)
• The director of the consortium: José Eduardo López Pereira
• The person responsible for quality in each of the universities that are part of the consortium, who will attend the meetings and may speak but not vote:

  • Moisés Canle López. Vice-Rector for Degrees and Internationalization from the University of A Coruña
  • Alfonso Lago Ferreiro. Vice-Rector for Qualifications and Teaching Innovation from the University of Vigo.
  • Bettina Checchia Cotti, General Coordinator of Academic Development of the Universidad Intercontinental de la Empresa
